How to Care for your Custom Product
Wash With Care
How you wash your garments plays a significant role in preserving the quality of your custom product. Follow these washing guidelines:
-
Turn Inside Out: Always wash inside out to reduce friction between the transfer and the walls of the washing machine.
-
Use Cold or Low Heat: High temperatures can weaken the adhesive and cause wrinkling. Stick to cold or low heat settings to maintain the integrity of your transfer.
-
Choose Gentle Detergents: Harsh detergents can degrade the transfer’s quality. Choose mild, color-safe detergents that are free from bleach.
Dry the Right Way & How to Remove Wrinkles after Shipping
Drying methods can impact the longevity of your custom product. To minimize wrinkling, follow these guidelines:
-
Tumble Dry on Low Heat: If you’re using a dryer, select a low heat setting to prevent heat damage. Remove as soon as the cycle is complete to avoid creasing. NEVER USE STEAM, IT CAN DAMAGE THE TRANSFER.
-
Air Dry Whenever Possible: Hang drying is the safest option for preserving your transfer’s quality. Lay the flat or hang on a clothesline to avoid causing wrinkles.
- Iron Low-Heat Only if Absolutely Necessary: Always turn inside-out and use a low-heat setting with a cloth barrier. NEVER USE STEAM, IT CAN DAMAGE THE TRANSFER.
